Somatic Reparenting Group

  • Walk Intuit | San Juan Capistrano 27128 Paseo Espada San Juan Capistrano, CA, 92675 United States (map)

This body-based, trauma-informed group supports anyone ages 18+ in healing early attachment wounds and developmental trauma through symbolic reparenting.

Each session uses structured, somatic techniques drawn from Psychomotor Therapy — a therapeutic approach sometimes called somatic psychodrama. Participants engage in ritualized group processes that respond to unmet childhood needs through guided visualization, movement, and role-based witnessing, creating new inner experiences of care, safety, and attunement.

Led by trained therapists Henry (Hentree) Bernard, AMFT, and Sara Eberlein, APCC

What to Expect:

  • Somatic (body-based) healing of early relational trauma

  • Community-based witnessing and ritual caregiving

  • Emotional processing through symbolic reparenting

  • A deeply respectful and attuned therapeutic environment

  • Mutual support from fellow participants

Ideal for Adults 18+ Who:

  • Have a foundation in personal therapy

  • Carry complex or family-based trauma

  • Are therapists, creatives, or highly sensitive people
