Psychotherapy Services

Walk Intuit is where you’re held in community and honored as an individual.
Healing isn't only something that happens in the mind. It lives in the body, in the way you hold tension, brace against memory, or reach for connection. At Walk Intuit, our psychotherapy services are rooted in the understanding that meaningful change requires more than insight. It requires experience.

Our clinical work is fundamentally somatic, trauma-informed, experiential, and relational. Rarely do our clinicians engage in talk therapy alone. We work with the body, the nervous system, the imagination, and the relational field because that's where trauma lives and where healing happens.

Walk Intuit is home to a diverse team of licensed therapists, associate therapists, and supervised graduate trainees, each bringing their own training, specializations, and depth of presence to the work.

What unites our team is a shared clinical philosophy: Attachment-oriented, body-informed, experientially grounded, and centered on the therapeutic relationship as the primary vehicle for change.

The modalities highlighted on this page represent some of the core approaches we draw from, but they are not exhaustive. Our clinicians are trained across a wide range of evidence-based and integrative methods, and treatment is always individualized. Your clinician will work collaboratively with you to understand your history, your nervous system, and your goals, and to shape an approach that fits you, not a protocol.

Our Foundational Clinical Orientation

Trauma-Informed — Every modality we use is held within an understanding of how trauma shapes the nervous system, attachment, and sense of self.

Somatic — We work with the body as a source of wisdom, not just a carrier of symptoms.

Experiential — Healing happens through real, present-moment experience, not only reflection on the past. Because of this, our team often utilizes hands-on interventions including art, sand tray, clay, empty-chair, and more.

Relational & Attachment-Focused — The therapeutic relationship is not incidental; it is the medicine.

Depth-Informed — We honor the unconscious, the symbolic, and the non-rational dimensions of human experience.

Inclusive & Affirming — All identities are welcomed, honored, and supported in their full, authentic expression.

Our Approach

Therapeutic Modalities

EMDR Therapy
01

EMDR

Eye Movement Desensitization & Reprocessing helps the brain reprocess memories stuck in the nervous system — a WHO-endorsed, first-line treatment for trauma and PTSD, offered here within a somatic and relational context.

Trauma PTSD Attachment
Somatic Psychotherapy
02

Somatic Psychotherapy

The body holds what the mind cannot always name. Somatic therapy works with sensation, breath, and nervous system awareness to reach the places where trauma is stored and where healing can begin.

Nervous System Body-Based Regulation
Art Therapy & Expressive Arts
03

Art Therapy & Expressive Arts

When language isn't enough, creativity becomes the language. Art-making accesses and processes traumatic memory in ways talk cannot, creating space for expression, meaning-making, and deep personal integration.

Creative Non-Verbal All Ages
Sand Tray Therapy
04

Sand Tray Therapy

Rooted in Jungian psychology, sand tray invites clients to build a world in miniature — externalizing inner landscapes through symbol and image. A powerful portal for depth work across all ages.

Depth Psychology Symbolic Jungian
Psychodynamic Psychotherapy
05

Psychodynamic Therapy

Explores the deeper currents beneath our patterns — early relational experiences, unconscious beliefs, and unresolved conflicts shaping how we move through the world. Depth-oriented and relationally held.

Depth Work Relational Long-Term
Experiential Therapy
06

Experiential Therapy

Healing happens through lived experience, not analysis alone. Experiential work engages the full person — body, emotion, imagination, and relationship — creating real-time moments of contact and genuine change.

Present-Moment Embodied Relational
NeuroAffective Touch
07

NeuroAffective Touch®

A polyvagal-informed, psychobiological approach using attuned therapeutic touch to reach preverbal and developmental trauma — healing at the nonverbal level where our earliest relational imprints were formed.

Developmental Touch-Based Polyvagal
Relational Talk Therapy
08

Relational Talk Therapy

The therapeutic relationship is not incidental — it is the medicine. Warm, collaborative, and genuinely curious, our relational approach is the living container in which every other modality is held.

Attachment Collaborative Foundation

Our team draws from many more approaches than those listed here — including NARM, Internal Family Systems, mindfulness-based practices, dream work, and more. Treatment is always individualized. Your clinician will work collaboratively with you to shape an approach that fits your nervous system, history, and goals.
